Marble Chips

Marble Chips are metamorphic rocks formed by the alteration of limestone by heat and pressure. In its pure form, marble is a white stone with a
crystalline and sugary appearance, composed of calcium carbonate CaCO3. Typically, marble contains other minerals, including quartz, graphite, pyrite, and iron oxide. We use it for chemical properties in pharmaceuticals and agriculture. We also use it for optical properties in cosmetics, paints and paper. They are used as Industrial Raw Materials with other industrial raw material products such as Silica Flour, LimestoneAggregateQuicklimeTalcVolcanic Rock, and Abrasives.

Properties

Marble is usually a light-colored rock. It is one of the most effective acid-neutralizing materials. The hardness of marble is 3 in the Mohs hardness that makes up calcite. As a result, marble is easy to carve and is useful for making carvings and ornaments. Gradually polish with a fine abrasive and then polish to a high gloss. We cut and polish marble and we use it for floor tiles, building panels, facing stones, window frames, treads, columns, and many other decorative stones. Marble chips are most effective when used on paths and patios instead of gravel. We often use gravel as an inorganic mulch around plants. However, the reflected sunlight of marble chip mulches can be too strong for plants in sun-filled areas. Today, people around the world extract and use marble to create huge monuments. It is used in buildings for simple purposes such as kitchen counters. It is classified as metamorphic rock. This means that the composition has changed over time from one type of rock to another.
